Mike Gruwell of ChutingStar Rigging Loft has offered up his advice on everything from 'buying your first jumpsuit' to 'how to choose your first rig'.   

Mike is a Master Rigger amongst several other certifications.  Aside from the certifications that Mike has achieved, he makes a significant effort to visit every manufacturers facility, to study every manufacturers owners manual, and to research the "ups and downs", so to speak, of every aspect of the sport.  For those of you who know him, Mike is very meticulous and incredibly detailed in his analysis of every part and procedure that he takes part in.  There is a reason that Mike is the chosen rigger and resource for rigging information for College Skydiving.

You might notice a new addition to the College Skydiving home page with the Chuting Star logo at the top of it.  Mike makes a substantial effort to research new technology, techniques, and teachings, and then to exclaim his findings on his "Rigger's Rant and Rave".  We are now featuring a new article regularly in order to give skydivers of all experience levels a new look at the equipment they are jumping, the coaching they are recieving, and the research process they are going through.
